DESCRIPTION
T-Connect Lesotho is looking for a skilled and hands-on Technology Officer to lead the way in implementing, managing, and supporting the technical systems that power our world-class internet service and digital products. This role is critical in ensuring seamless, reliable connectivity and efficient operations, while providing exceptional technical support to our customers. You’ll be at the forefront of building and managing our network infrastructure, guiding installation projects and setting the technical standards that define our service excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Leadership: Oversee the design, deployment, and management of our technical infrastructure, including network planning and installation strategies.

Network Performance: Manage day-to-day network operations, ensuring top-tier performance, rapid issue resolution, and optimal customer connectivity.

Collaboration with Field Teams: Work closely with installation partners to maintain high technical standards and seamless project execution.

Hardware Compatibility: Assess and implement the best routers, modems, and hardware to support our cutting-edge internet solutions.

Support Excellence: Equip technical support teams with the tools and training needed to meet and exceed SLAs.

Innovation and Compliance: Advise senior management on technical advancements and ensure compliance with local cybersecurity and regulatory standards.

Technical Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for networks, systems, and customer-facing technologies.
REQUIREMENTS
-
A degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.

4+ years of experience in ISP, telecoms, or network engineering roles.

Hands-on experience with wireless infrastructure, routers, and internet service equipment.

Familiarity with satellite internet platforms (a plus).

Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of supporting technical field teams.

Solid understanding of IP networking, connectivity troubleshooting, and installation processes.

Experience with customer support systems and IT service tools (preferred).
